Jamie moved to Orlando in 1991 after graduating from University of Florida with a major in accounting. He started with a local firm in 1992 while completing his masters in Taxation degree from University of Central Florida and became partner there in 2001. In addition to serving his accounting and tax clients, Jamie also contracted with the state as a Florida Sales & Use Tax Auditor for seven years. This kind of experience brings Jamie the knowledge  in dealing with accounting and compliance issues for a wide array of different industries. Jamie practices mainly in accounting and taxation areas. His practice consists of corporate, personal service organizations, and mid-to-high income individuals. Jamie also assists his clients with financial planning including retirement, investment, and estate planning.
 
Jamie’s goal is to continue to practice and build upon the standard he learned when he first began as a CPA, which is to provide quality service and personal attention to all clients.
 

Jamie is also a member of both the AICPA and FICPA.

He and his wife, Heather, along with their three children Abby, Sarah and James, and dog Rudy live in Winter Springs.  They attend church at St. Stephens.  Jamie enjoys spending time with his family, following college football-GO Gators!-travel, and fishing.  


 


Eric R. Shivers, CPA
Manager

Eric also moved to Orlando in 1991 after receiving his BBA in Economics from the University of West Georgia to attend Reformed Theological Seminary where he worked on his Masters of Divinity. Before entering public accounting in 1996, Eric was the controller for a large non-profit organization where he was the Director of Finance and Human Resources.

The breadth of experience that Eric brings to the practice is rooted in his commitment to our clients as individuals and what their personal goals and hopes are. Having worked at two firms here in Orlando, Eric brings his experience of working with several types of businesses and individuals. Eric mainly practices in taxation, business consulting, and attestation.  His practice consists of medical practices, high-income individuals, and real-estate professionals in handling all areas of tax compliance and tax planning.  Eric has also helped multiple businesses in setting up and trouble shooting accounting systems and internal controls.

Eric is also a member of the AICPA.

Eric and Patti, along with their daughters Kaitlin and Claire live in Altamonte Springs.


 

Tammy Neel, CPA
Tax Supervisor 

 

Tammy received her BSBA in accounting from the University of Central Florida in 1995 where she also went on to get her Masters of Science in Taxation which she completed in 1998. She became a CPA that November and began working for a major international accounting firm, KPMG, where she worked for 2 1/2 years. She then moved to a large local firm where she stayed for 4 years until leaving to stay home and start a family. Her many years of tax experience bring a technical dynamic to the firm that allows us to go the extra mile. Tammy’s desire for and practice of excellence in all areas has truly served to benefit our clients. Her areas of expertise lie in pass-through entities and high-income individuals. 

Tammy is also a member of both the AICPA and FICPA.  

Tammy has been an Oviedo resident for the last 15 years. She and her husband Chuck have three beautiful children Jacob, Sydney and Raegan. Tammy is very involved in her church and also volunteers her time with her sons Boy Scout troop.    


 


Carrie Brown
Staff Accountant/ Firm Administrator

Carrie Brown started her career as a staff accountant for a small CPA firm in Miami.  From there she went on to become the finance manger for a public relations company, where she manged two businesses and a rental property for over three years.  

Her range of experience also includes assisting small businesses in setting up their books and acting as treasurer on local campaign's.  With over 10 years of QuickBooks experience she has a wide range of knowledge and troublsehooting capabilities and can get client's up and running with great proficiency.

In need of a retreat from the busy Miami way of life, she and her husband relocated to Orlando in 2006 where she became the office manager for a mid-size CPA firm in Baldwin Park where she met up with Jamie and Eric.  With her wide range of knowledge and experience Carrie brings the necessary skills for the daily management of the firm.   Her positive attitude also helps drive her success.
 

Becky Bartkus
Bookkeeper
 
Becky graduated from Lake Howell in 1992 and went on to get her AA at UCF.  Her experinece ranges from restaurant management,  bookkeeping, payroll, HR and administrative work for industries such as banking, small businesses and churches.  She has handled most tasks and situations that many small businesses encounter on a daily basis and handles them with professionalism and accuracy.  Becky has a get it done attitude that allows her to excel at any assignment that comes her way.
 
She and her husband Ryan live in Winter Springs with their son Zach.  They are all members of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, PCA.  In her spare time she enjoys shopping and watching football.  She cheers on the UCF Knights, the Bucs, the Gators and Notre Dame. 
 
 

 
Katie Booth
Administrative Assistant
 
Katie is currently a full-time student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  She is majoring in accounting and will have her BSBA early next year.  Upon completion of her degree, her goal is to sit for the CPA exam. 
 
Katie is originally from Apopka.  She has an adorable teacup chihuahua named Bradie and in her spare time enjoys attending church, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
